The 2022 yuan universe, blockchain and financial technology blue book conference was successfully held

     In September 2022, under the guidance of the Social Sciences Literature Publishing House of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Beijing Financial Technology Industry Alliance, hosted by the Beijing Blockchain Technology Application Association (BBAA) and undertaken by Beijing Zhongke Jincai Technology Co., Ltd., the "Web 3.0 Development Trend Summit Forum and the 2022 Metauniverse, Blockchain, and Financial Technology Blue Book Conference" was successfully held at the China International Trade in Services Fair.

      It is understood that the conference solemnly released three annual blue books, namely, China Metauniverse Development Report (2022), China Blockchain Development Report (2022), and China Financial Technology Development Report (2022), under the guidance of relevant experts from the People's Bank of China, China Securities Regulatory Commission, Beijing Financial Technology Industry Alliance, and Beijing University of Technology, and authorized by the Social Science Literature Publishing House Experts, scholars and industry representatives from famous enterprises in the industry jointly support and participate in the preparation.

      Dr. Zhu Yedong, the executive editor in chief of the three blue books, president of Beijing Blockchain Technology Application Association, and chairman of China Science Jincai, delivered a keynote speech on the development status and trend of China's meta universe, blockchain, and financial technology industries.

      In terms of the meta universe, Zhu Yidong said that 2021 is the first year of the meta universe, and the meta universe industry is an important part of the future digital economy. The state has issued a series of development plans and policies on the digital economy and the meta universe industry. The Yuanuniverse, also known as the Internet of Value, provides an immersive experience based on extended reality technology, and digital twin technology generates a mirror image of the real world. It builds an economic system through blockchain technology, closely integrates the virtual world with the real world in economic systems, social systems, and identity systems, and allows each user to produce and edit content.

     It is predicted that the current output value of China's meta universe upstream and downstream industries is more than 40 billion yuan, mainly reflected in game entertainment, VR and AR hardware. In the next five years, the domestic meta universe market will break through the 200 billion yuan mark at least. Digital asset trading platform has become the core infrastructure of the universe. The industrial ecology of the universe, including the common capability layer, scene application layer, infrastructure layer, and application system layer, has formed a complete industrial ecological environment. In the scene of the universe, tourism, retail, banking, education, culture, government affairs, military, aerospace and party building are all applied in nine fields.

      In terms of blockchain, Zhu Yedong said that the technology of blockchain has gradually become mature, and blockchain has begun a new development stage from "trust to cooperation". Blockchain is accelerating its breakthrough and application. Blockchain empowers the cultural industry. According to statistics, the scale of China's digital products in 2021 will be about 150 million yuan, and the development speed of the entire digital collection industry this year will far exceed market expectations, In 2022, the sales of digital asset issuance will exceed 2.842 billion yuan, and maintain a growth rate of more than 150% in the next five years.

      In terms of financial science and technology, Zhu Yedong introduced the development of domestic financial science and technology in 2022, compared the financing differences between China and the United States, and expounded the development and application of key technologies in the field of financial science and technology from three aspects: "cloud assisted digital transformation", "big data unleashing business potential", and "AI application scenarios are constantly enriched". In particular, the development of digital RMB has formed a pilot pattern of research and development involving 23 regions in 15 provinces (cities) and 10 operating institutions. The application scenario of digital RMB has been continuously expanded, covering catering, transportation, shopping, tourism, medical care, communications, government services and other fields.
