Dubai International Financial Center announced the launch of "DIFC Meta Universe Platform"

On January 30, 2023, the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) announced the launch of the "DIFC meta universe platform".

The platform aims to attract and cultivate global talents in emerging technology fields to ensure Dubai's position as the leader of the global metauniverse.

The DIFC Metauniverse platform will launch an accelerator program to establish a special Metauniverse technology studio to promote the development of the creator community; The platform will also discuss the formulation and legislation of the metauniverse policy, covering data, digital identity and corporate law. In addition, the plan will promote the development of the metauniverse community and explore how to enhance customers' metauniverse experience.

The yuan cosmic accelerator program is the first program launched by the platform, and will begin to accept applications this month. In the next few years, the program will attract more than 500 applicants, and the sponsor will cultivate the most promising 50 graduates to promote the development of the industry.

The program will also help them find partners, contact investors and provide marketing support.

DIFC's metauniverse platform is consistent with Dubai's metauniverse strategy, which aims to increase Dubai's GDP by $4 billion, provide 40000 jobs by 2030, and attract 1000 blockchain and metauniverse companies.
